Stan Glazer (Active late 20th Century)
Stan Glazer is a Canadian painter active during the late 20th century, best known for his detailed realism and serene depictions of regional wilderness. While highly regarded for his original paintings—such as his intricate botanical study of Ontario’s native wildflowers in “TRILLIUMS”—Glazer’s popular seasonal scenes were also published as high-quality, limited-edition reproductive lithographs during the 1980s to reach a wider audience of collectors.
His 1985 series—which included widely distributed signed reproductions like “Last Snow”—demonstrates a masterful command over soft, muted winter light, barren tree structures, and calm reflection pools. Today, his tranquil, nostalgic compositions remain highly collectible examples of mid-to-late 20th-century Canadian regional realism.
