Moorcroft Coral Hibiscus on Green Ground

Moorcroft Coral Hibiscus on green ground

Moorcroft Coral Hibiscus on Light Green Ground (note green ground is a pale green)

First developed by Walter Moorcroft in 1949, the Hibiscus pattern quickly became one of the pottery’s most iconic designs. It underwent refinements in the early 1960s, and in 1968, the Coral Hibiscus variation was introduced, featuring softer coral tones and a lighter, more delicate palette. This collection showcases the Coral Hibiscus design on a gentle light green ground, with each piece hand-painted and tubelined in the traditional Moorcroft style. The vibrant coral blooms and rich foliage contrast beautifully with the soft green backdrop, reflecting the artistry and craftsmanship that have defined Moorcroft for generations.
