Mary Lampman is noted contemporary artist from Port Colborne, Ontario and has enjoyed 60 plus years as an artist. Lampman studied oil painting at the Mary Schneider School of Fine Arts and attended the art workshops of various artist such as Jack Reid, Tony Akkerman, Con Van Suchtelen and Neil Broadfoot. She has also shared her passion of painting, holding numerous workshops in Canada and a broad. Her works are held in collections worldwide and has been used by the Hiram Walker Corporation for its company Christmas card. Her mostly high sought after works by local Port Colborne collectors are the barns she’s painted, since many have been torn down, they preserve a piece of history.
